Do Australian toilets spin the opposite way?

As the Simpson taught us in the 1995 episode, ‘Bart vs Australia,’ the water in the southern hemisphere will spin clockwise. This largely in line with the Coriolis Effect. However it should be mentioned that other factors including toilet design will affect the direction of water spin to a greater degree.

What is the legal drinking age?

All Australian states and territories adhere to a minimum drinking age of 18. This applies to students from any nationality. While there is a culture of enjoying a glass of wine or beer at just about every possible occasion, Australians drink responsibly and you are encouraged to do the same.

What side of the road do you drive on?

Australia drives on the left along with The UK, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan and pockets of South-East Asian and Southern Africa Countries.

You are able to drive in the ACT with a current US license and/or International driving license. We recommend you read the ACT Road and Transport Authority website for information on other Australian states and territories rules and regulation as you may drive across state boarders.
