ANU staff and students

Why North America?

The USA and Canada hold many opportunities for ANU staff and students. North America is home to some of the world’s largest research organisations and some of the world’s largest research funding sources, public and private.

The University’s North American Liaison Office (NALO), based in Washington DC, can help you identify opportunities for research partnerships and funding opportunities.

NALO is also helping to extend the University’s education partnerships in North America, which allow ANU students to study at universities in the USA and Canada, as well as intern in federal offices, non-government organisations, international organisations and in North American corporations.

There are also many opportunities for ANU experts to promote their research findings on the world’s key issues at seminars and public events organised by NALO.

On the NALO site you’ll find details on opportunities connected to research, education, internships and outreach.
